Womble Bond Dickinson Attorney Jackie Camp Presents on Foreign Investments to ACC Houston International Law Practice Group

HOUSTON, TX – On Wednesday, October 12, Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Jackie Camp presented at the ACC Houston International Law Practice Group luncheon, sponsored by Womble Bond Dickinson. Camp presented with Shalini Soopramanien, Assistant General Counsel of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation.

Camp and Soopramanien’s presentation, “Investing in Development: DFC, Sustainable Development and You” focused on introducing the audience to the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, explaining who can access its funds, and providing examples of DFC deals. The presenters also discussed how DFC incorporates ESG requirements and promotes sustainability, and they defined best practices for collaboration between external and internal counsel on transactions.
